Learn To Fly

The TAEFC operates as an FAA Certified Part 141 Flight School. Typical students at the TAEFC begin their ground school training using the Cessna Online Private Pilot/Sport Pilot Course training materials. The course was produced by Cessna aircraft in conjunction with King Schools. This course offers online access to the Private Pilot/Sport Pilot Course labs where students learn from full screen and full motion digital video segments, followed by a series of interactive questions that are presented in a fun-to-use style.

Students complete their flight training with a TAEFC approved, FAA Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI). The minimum hours to complete training in our curriculum is 35. However, an average person should conservatively anticipate receiving a Private Pilot Certificate in approximately 70* flight hours.
